Day 14 - Okamino and Beyond

It is Sunday and sometimes that means we've gotten a late start, such as this morning. My Northern Book Club hosted a seasonal party and we managed to see the midnight hour! Such a feat.  It's another overcast day with promise of sunshine so the lure of a hike towards downtown is strong.

Now that's saying Canadian Christmas!

I had my Sunday company with me for this beautiful part through Knox.

The grasses were fairly glowing.

We are the first customers on the first day of this new little bistro on Ellis across from the Cannery Lofts, so new that their espresso machine hadn't been hooked up yet, but don't let that dissuade you from going. Best breakfast wrap (2eggs/cheese/ham/peppers) for $4! Three of us ate our fill with 2 coffees for under $15. People's Bistro.
